How the vote works
The vote helps SEI decide who to invite to give the next Genius Talk.
Voting
- Voting is free, and you don't need an email to vote.
- You get one vote per genius per day, and you can back as many geniuses as you like.
- A new voting day starts at midnight, New York time.
Votes that count double
Votes from a confirmed email count double when they also pass our automated check against bots. If you already read the Genius Filter, use the email you get it at. One email can be used on up to 3 devices a day.
The leaderboard
- It shows the top 10 geniuses by share of the vote and is updated every 10 minutes.
- Exact vote counts appear once 1,000 votes that pass our checks are in.
- Other names under the top 10 stay private until they climb.
Requests
If the genius you want isn't on the list, you can request them. We review requests every week.
Who is on the list
Only living people are listed, and the list changes over time.
Fair play
Automated or coordinated voting is removed.
What the vote decides
The vote helps SEI decide who to invite, and it is advisory. There is no guarantee that anyone will be booked, or on what date, and the people listed have not endorsed this vote.
